Good morning, everyone. Van Winkle here, hoping you're all doing well and enjoying the postseason content so far. I'll be back here next week for this year's somewhat belated state of the homestead address to announce what's coming for the rest of 2024. But for now, we're taking a break from our usual bi-weekly release schedule for another Feminist Ferrydale's feed drop. I know we've featured this show before,

but I've been a part of this team for more than two years now, and this show really does mean a lot

to me. It's an incredible fantasy anthology full of wonderful, powerful stories told in exciting ways

by incredible writers, brought to life by amazing casts and beautifully sound designed by so many amazing creators in the audio drama space.

It's also an incredibly supportive and vibrant artistic community, including many friends of the homestead,

as well as dozens of other immensely talented individuals all working together to make something incredible.

And as an added bonus, it's a true anthology after my own heart,

with a variety of stories and genres featured under the banner of fairy tales making for a delightful

listening experience, as you never know what you'll get from each story. From magical

comedies to urban fantasy, from mythical tales to magical misunderstandings, from folk horror

to heart-wrenching tragedy,

feminist fairy tales really has it all.

Season 3 is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter and it has a very exciting theme, Tales Twisted,

where the writers and creators crafting the stories will combine two or more fairy tales in fun and weird ways to make something absolutely new.

If you like fairy tales, folklore, and mythology as much as I do, then this next season

will be an absolute delight to listen to, as the myriad of influences and references are

sure to be so much fun to discover and unpack. Plus, two of those amazing writers are our very

own Virginia Spots and Ezra J. Wayne.

And if their episodes of this show are anything to go by, they're going to blow us all out of the water.

I will also be serving a sound producer for season three, and Madeline Regina, our amazing friend and occasional director, will once again be serving as showrunner.
