Hello, Pod Save the UK fans. It's Nish here. Coco and I are taking a break because I am so tired after my world tour that I am simply going to need to be horizontal for a full seven days. And I imagine I'll be conscious for, on average, two hours per day for each one of those seven. And we're also very excited and need to recharge our batteries because

we've got two massive upcoming live shows with the London Podcast Festival. On Tuesday,

the 2nd of September, in collaboration with Amnesty International, we're doing Stop the Genocide

special with some fantastic guests, including journalist Wael al-Dakdu, Al Jazeera's Gaza Bureau chief, my friend

Jen Bristair, who's been a tireless campaigner for the rights of Palestinian people, and

the indomitable Alexei Sale, who is one of our great political comedians and another person

that has been championing the rights of Palestinian people for a long, long time.

Then on Sunday the 7th, we are focusing

on the future of the left in the United Kingdom with one of the leaders of the movement,

the party that's definitely not called your parties guiding light, incredible Zara Sultanah.

Sarah and Carriads Weirdo's Book Club, that's Sarah Pascoe and Carriad Lloyd get together to talk with a special guest about a book each week.
