Thank you for joining us at now playing for our Friday the 13th Retrospective.

With all the excitement of the Michael Bay remake of Friday the 13th coming out on Friday

February 13th, we here at now playing will be looking back at all of the installments

in the Friday the 13th movie franchise, from Crystal Lake to New York to Deep Space.

We'll never come back again, it's got a death curse.

Just a quick warning up front, these are R-rated movies that barely made it past the MPAA

and our discussions of the movies are just as R-rated.

And also, these reviews will contain major spoilers, listener discretion is advised.

Today we are talking about Friday the 13th Part 3.

This is Brock, co-host of now playing, Arnie from Springfield.

And now I have to ask, since this is Part 3 in 3D, I have never seen Part 3 in 3D has

anyone here seen it in the actual 3D.

Well you live in LA, every year in LA they apparently have screenings of this movie with the

full 3D format, and then let's not forget the most recent explosion of 3D journey to the

center of the earth, spy kids, all of the computer animated stuff, yeah, Bale Wolf.

I saw Meet the Robinson's in 3D, and the experience was so accentuated by having

Meet the Robinson's in 3D, I mean, wow, I can't believe I spent the extra $5 to see

that little vehicle float in front of me.

Yeah, it's one thing to meet them, it's another thing to actually have them pop out and

be able to touch them, I think that's pretty cool.

You saw Monster House in 3D, and I'm going to be seeing my bloody Valentine in 3D this

week, so 3D is really making a comeback, so it's kind of apt that we are going back
