Kurt for today's episode. Hey friends, welcome back. Psalm 25 today in your Bible, talking about waiting on the Lord, lifting our soul up to him, trusting him.

Lord, remember your great love for me.

Lord, don't remember my sins as much as sometimes they come back and tap me on the shoulder,

oh God, may I live in the reality of your mercy and your forgiveness?

And we're in verse number eight today.

So let's go ahead and jump right in.

Psalm 25, verse number eight, good and upright is the Lord, therefore will he teach sinners in the way?

What a statement? Good and upright is the Lord, therefore he will teach sinners in the way.

So, wow, God teaching sinners? The point here is we're all sinners. And when we in our

sinfulness have a spirit of repentance, a spirit of humility, God certainly could squash us like a bug if you wanted to, but good and upright is the Lord.

And God's design and desire is not to squash us.

No, God's design and desire is to help us as we come to him, as we humbly ask him.

And that's the teaching of verse number eight.

And I'll show it to you because verse number nine helps us to understand it

when it says, the meek will he guide in judgment?

And the meek will he teach his way? So it's not the obstinate sinner
