Good messages not only teach us something and not only tell us to do something, but they make application to our own personal and private life.

Do you know that Josea does just that? He's taught us some things, but at the very end of his book, he writes one verse to you and to me, the reader. And that's a powerful

Hey, friends, welcome back.

And speaking about friends, today is the day that we say goodbye to a dear

friend of ours, Mr. Josea. Yep, this is the last chapter in our last session, really in our

study of the book of Josea. I really appreciate. If you've been here for the whole study,

thank you for your faithfulness. And I hope that you've been enriched by it. I hope it's been a help.

Today, as we look at these final few verses, we're going to see that Josea had a heart for you.

Josea had a heart that you would get this and that you would apply this to your life.

And one day, you and I will meet Josea in heaven.

And we'll be able to ask him some questions about some of these confusing parts of the book.

But most importantly, we'll be able to thank him for his faithfulness to the Lord

and for his faithful preaching to a group of people that never did listen. Can you imagine

preaching a whole ministry? And the whole ministry is kind of negative because nobody ever really listened. Now, a few people

did no doubt, but as a nation, he just never really was popular. And we ought to be living not

for the popularity that's out there, but we ought to be living really for the audience of one,

the popularity with the Lord.
