But we do begin with the deadly storms overnight in the Northeast, leaving a trail of destruction after flash floods and damaging winds tore through several states.

We're talking long lines, crowded gates as well. But look, the July 4th travel rush technically may have already peaked.

But with the traffic, the delays, the cancellations, and those storms overnight, we could still be talking about a pretty rough trip for millions that are heading on today.

Overnight, dangerous storms leaving a deadly path of destruction in the Northeast, killing at least

three in New Jersey. A woman reportedly pulling over to ride it out in North Plainfield when this

massive tree fell on top of her car. The tree uprooting the sidewalk, live power lines making it

impossible for

anyone to help. I heard the boom was close, and I see the tree in the car. Trees and wires

down across the region, leaving thousands without power. Several Fourth of July events,
