September 20th. As the first full week of the Boeing machinist strike comes to a close,

a lot remains unclear. As of right now, there are no new talks scheduled. Brian Bryant is the

Workers. He told NPRs here and now, he's impressed that young people are coming out in force on the

picket lines. I mean, I'm talking all ages all the way up through teenagers to the early 20s. Kids out

there supporting their parents saying, I'm behind my parents on this fight because I may want to work at the Bowen Company one day.

And I want it to be a good job that pays well and has excellent benefits.

Bryant says the strike has been difficult for families.
