It's Friday the 13th.

With protests against Donald Trump planned around the country this weekend, local officials are urging people to exercise their rights peacefully.

Some national media organizations reported that ICE was preparing to deploy

special response teams in Seattle and other cities. Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell says he's heard

nothing about any increased presence by ICE. We are aware of rumors and media reports about tactical

ice teams being deployed in Seattle, but to be clear, as I think we've been on many occasions,

the city does not coordinate with ice, and we do not receive notification from ICE or the Department

of Homeland Security about special tactical teams. Washington Governor Bob Ferguson also called

on protesters to remain peaceful. The group Indivisible and other organizations have planned anti-Trump protests around the country on Saturday.

Ferguson says local law enforcement can handle the protests,

and he doesn't want Trump to send in the National Guard and the Marines as he's done in California.

Amazon is among the major corporate sponsors for Saturday's military parade in Washington, D.C.

The Seattle-based company is named in promotional materials by the organizer.
