On an April day in 2004, the famous Mexican photographer Graciela Y Turovide approached

the entryway to an electric blue house in Mexico City.

She was at the former house of the painter Frida Kahlo.

And today, Graciela had a very special assignment.

I was at the house of Frida Kahlo, an artist who is very famous in Latin America.

Frida Kahlo was born, lived, and died in this house, which is called the Blue House.

Today it's also known as the Frida Kahlo Museum.
