Hey, everybody Rob Maower here and today we have quite a few things to go through including the rise of the overall stock market today

Tesla's production status in Fremont and China.

Panasonic's earnings report and their comments on Tesla.

Rumors on Tesla in Texas and updated Morgan Stanley note,

EV policy in France, Uber, and some SpaceX news. and 813.63 cents that compared to the NASDAQ up 2.4 percent so Tesla trailed the NASDAQ

which itself trailed the S&P 500 and the Dow by about one percentage point.

Even with those indices you can see that there was some rotation

between sectors. We had outperformers from the last couple of months.

Underperforming Amazon was only up 7 tenths of a percent.

Netflix down half a percent. Alphabet up less than 1 percent, so relative to those stocks,

Tesla did pretty well, but compared to the other automakers,

Volkswagen was up 7 percent, GM Ford Fiat Chrysler, all up 8 to 10 percent,

Daimler up 11% on the day.

And then we had some of the harder hit stocks

like brick and mortar retailers up 7% or so on the day.

So I think money seemed to be rotating out of the higher flyers

back into those that are perceived as having a deep discount as things start to open up.

We start to see more retailers being allowed for curbside pickup or even potentially in-store operations.

And then the big macro news that we got today probably played into that as well, which if you have not heard yet, was a positive report from Moderna on their phase one trial for a coronavirus vaccination.
