every student group measured. The state has been redesigning the high school experience,

making it more flexible and student-centered. Indiana's statewide school choice program,

which served over 76,000 students last year, is now universal, and parents are

taking advantage of additional education freedom options like open enrollment, microschools, and

charter schools. Secretary Jenner and I discuss these developments, and we delve into the

flexibilities from the federal bureaucracy that Indiana is seeking in its waiver application
