Dude, you've been rocking since you were 15 years old, this says. Is that true? That's true. Yeah. Where'd you grow up? I grew up in southern Indiana. And describe your family, like your parents, your upbringing. Yeah, upbringing. It was unique. I'm actually from, originally from Brazil, like in South America. And I grew up between, you know, the small country town and San Paulo my whole life.

0:39.1

The different, like, what that kind of entailed is that you saw how different countries,

0:44.0

specifically, you know, what brought my entrepreneurship was just seeing the pricing

0:47.1

difference on stuff. And, you know, my parents, they weren't entrepreneurs, but they were very, like,

0:53.8

kind of gave me freedom to do what I needed to do. And, you know, I think we're like that entrepreneurial spark really happened was like every year that I go back to Brazil, people would always ask me, oh, can you bring me an Xbox? Can you bring me this? And I'm like, why can't they just buy it here? You know, and you don't really, you take these things for granted as a teenager,

1:28.4

but then I noticed, like, you know, it's, it's literally like 60% more expensive here. Or in some cases, like, if it just came out, like, 200, 300%, 300%. So what I started doing there, than Brazil? In Brazil, because at the time, like, supply chain, you know, one, there's a huge import tax, right? So, um, like a Ferrari in Brazil, for example, uh, it maybe here costs like three or four hundred K in Brazil, the same car will be a million, right? Uh, because there's a really, uh, really huge tax. Like, services are really cheap. Like I can get, you can get a housekeeper for like 200 bucks a month, but, um, that, very expensive. And in addition to that,

1:45.8

there's like a six month like lag or there used to be of when things would launch there.

1:50.4

So anyways, like I started noticing this when I started really thinking more about money,

1:54.5

like, you know, where my dad couldn't just pay for the things that I wanted. So at the time,

1:58.6

you know, 15, I wanted a motorcycle because you can get one of those

2:02.8

without having a license in Indiana. They get a permit. And so I ended up getting a job at the time

2:08.7

at Polo, Ralph Lauren. It was like the factory outlet that I was working at. And I worked that whole

2:13.9

week, made like a grand total of a hundred bucks. I remember seeing my paycheck was like, wow, it's really hard to make money.

2:21.2

And then this big tour bus of, you know, foreigners came in and they, you know, it was about,

2:27.3

there was a Toyota factory there.

2:29.1

And all these people from Japan came.

2:30.8

And they dropped like 60 grand, like, you know, know at the store there and it was just me

2:35.2

and one other dude and um we took care of them and whatever and the next day I'm like oh

2:39.8

they're surely going to give me a commission like I've hit like a new benchmark here and I got a
