What's up everybody? Welcome into Tom Carrey's Patriots Talk podcast talking, as you might imagine, free agency.

It's barely 24 hours old, but you know it's not really 24 hours old. It's been going hot and heavy since Monday.

And the Patriots haven't done a hell of a lot.

We're going to bring in Steve Palazzoa from Pro Football Focus to give kind of an overview

of what's going on in free agency around the week and a Patriot-centric view with some

of the players that they could target.

And then, of course, Phil will be in.

And Phil Perry and I will discuss the Patriots specifically, not just what they've done

and haven't done, the outflow of players, but who could conceivably step up in 2022 and fill

some of those holes that are gaping right now all over the depth chart.

So before I bring in Steve, let's look for a moment of what the Patriots have seen go out the door.

And some of it is, you know, there ripples in the pond.

Jakob Johnson, Brandon Bolden, both guys leaving for the Vegas Raiders.

But then when it adds small ripples to bigger waves like

Kyle Van Neuie being released last week or Shaq Mason being traded, two of the better players in

2021 or guys who took significant snaps like at the linebacker level last year. Dante Heitoward

not resigned. Jelan Bentley not resigned. That's okay. I Hightower, not resign. Juan Bentley, not re-signed.
