Hello, everybody. Welcome to Inside the Huddle. I'm your host, Neil Reynolds, joined as ever by my partner, Jeff Reimbold.

And Jeff, we have much to discuss again because it's just been a crazy couple. When you think,

Jeff, it's only been two weeks since Aaron Rogers said he was going to stay. Russell Wilson

headed to Denver. We've had Devante Adams on the move, Von Miller on the move, Matt Ryan,

Deshawn Watson's trade has happened. I mean, it's been an incredible couple of weeks to start

the off season. It's been, Neil, I can't remember when the intensity of the trade market was,

you know, when really outshone the free agency signings, in my opinion.

And I think that's, again, going back to what the Rams have done, you know, loading up and

getting themselves a quarterback. And now you see quarterbacks in the trade market,

which has never been the case. Yeah, well, there was this wonderful stat knocking around this week, Jeff.

All the quarterbacks taken between 2009 and 2016.

I think there were 31 of them in the first round, aren't with the teams that drafted them

anymore.

And general managers are more willing to trade now.

You know, a five-year deal doesn't mean a five-year deal.

You can get two or three years out of a guy and then move them on,

as we saw with the Packers and Devante Adams.

So trades are now a big part.

They used to be back in the day.

Then they went flat and quiet for years, didn't see trades.

And now they are used freely by the general managers.
