Boy, there's days where the podcast just falls in your lap. And as a host of a podcast, when you've got the topics

lined up and ready to go, you feel really good and you can't wait to open the microphone

and start. And that is today's episode of Kevin Keatsman has issues. Now, one hesitation,

I recognize that many people in this audience and many listening audiences are burned out on all the stadium talk

in and around Kansas City with the chiefs, the royals, the two states, the municipalities,

the counties, the politicians, the business leaders. I get it. The sad locations,

the wrong locations, the complete lack of knowing what's going on.

And at times, especially with the Royals, a look that the team just doesn't know what it's doing

as it's going forward through all of this. I recognize all that. I was going to bury the stadium stuff

to the second half of the podcast and do all the sports there. I'm not going to do

that. I'm going to start with this. I will not spend a lot of time on it. I've got a really, really

tasty personal story to share with you here in just a couple of moments after we get past the stadiums.

We'll save the rest of the sports for later on because All-Star Home Run Derbys and Fox Sports One gutting all of its shows are nice headlines

and they'll be fun to talk about, but they're not really a needle mover here at the start.

So we're going to start with the story that is really on the forefront or the front burner

for a lot of Kansas City, not just sports fans, but people that follow politics or news or

whatever. And that is, where are the Royals and Chiefs going to be playing six years from now?

That's whatever, 2031, where will they be?

The leases expire in 2030.

Where will they be in 2031?

So it's a big question.
