The first day of the second half of the season starts Wednesday for the Lakers, who kick off their final 41 games in Sacramento against the Kings. To say the least, the first half of the year hasn't gone as anyone in or around the organization would have hoped, but that doesn't mean bad things have to happen going forward, right? It's time to make some big predictions for the second half of the year! Who is the big X-Factor? Where will the Lakers finish in the Western Conference standings? Will they advance in the playoffs? If so, how far? This plays into one more big prediction - Is this Frank Vogel's last season on the sideline for L.A.? But before all that, Frank Vogel spoke to the media after Tuesday's practice, and spent most of his time talking about Russell Westbrook. Specifically, Westbrook's complaints (delivered in relatively mild fashion, to be fair, but complaints nonetheless) that he's being given mixed messages on how to play and what is expected of him, game to game.
