I so appreciate that you have decided to listen today. I hope your spirits are well.

And you could think of that as just your emotional state, like your spirits could just mean,

you know, how you're feeling. Or it could mean more than that to you, which we'll

discuss today as you'll hear. I'm very glad to be with you all. I have to say, this show

has really been even more important in my life than it has been over the eight years I've been doing it.

If you listen to the episode, I recorded with Daniel Simpson some weeks back. I talked about the

process of making this show over the years and how much it's like interwoven into my

dealing with my life and understanding myself.

So, you know, I think there are times when I have conversations that are more about some idea of an oral history of things.
