Hello and thank you for joining us at the Explorers Podcast.

I want to take a moment before we begin today's episode and talk a little bit

about the podcast. I know that it's been a few months since we've had anything

new but I want you to know that that was not my intention and I fully intend to keep doing the

podcast. Basically what happened was I moved about a thousand miles and things

did not quite turn out as I planned and we ended up in temporary housing.

This made it a little difficult to produce the podcast.

That said, I'm back at work and I expect to be on a more regular schedule,

hopefully at least a couple times a month.

So thank you everyone for your patience.

I look forward to producing the episode at a more regular basis for you guys.

Now regarding this upcoming episode, for everyone who contacted me wondering where it was well here you go we are

on part two of Francisco de Oriana I do want to note that the recording of this episode occurred over different times and locations.

And as I edited this one, I did notice that I did make a few mistakes.

Specifically I wanted to point out I messed up a few names as I went.

Normally even if I pronounce someone's name wrong I like to get one

pronunciation and stick with it. I did notice that I didn't do that for this last episode. You'll notice that the pronunciation of a couple of names gets changed as I went.

That was kind of a product of the erratic nature of the production of this episode. I apologize for that. I really don't think it hurts anything in this episode.

It's just something that I noticed and I wanted to mention to you.
