Yesterday, there was very intense heat. There is no breeze where I live or

hardly any breeze. So, nothing to cool you off apart from your sweat or

drinking lots and lots of water. It got well above 100 yesterday and remained

that way until quite late into the evening. It really was quite, quite

exceptional. Today is much cooler. It's in the 80s now and it was quite a bit

lower than that when I first got up around 8 this morning, but it has been

very hot, but it is not what people are saying about Italy and Spain and all

those other Mediterranean countries that are right on the Mediterranean, but a

bit further south, like Portugal, Greece, where it is actually deadly and it's
