Great to be with you guys. Hope it's a good day in Philly and excited to talk about VJ. Edgecombe for sure.

It's been an exciting day. Exciting process to go through after a tough season, but they were rewarded with the third overall pick and to get a player like VJ Edgecombe.

Certainly fits with the Philadelphia 76's

need currently and in the future. So from watching him this season and seeing how he played

with the Baylor Bears and coach Scott Drew, who are the Philadelphia 76ers, in your opinion,

getting as a player? Well, first of all, Bill Armstrong gave you a great rundown, obviously, because he was

around Vijay every day. I've known about Vijay for a couple years now, obviously, like many of us.

And I got a chance to watch and practice in September and then called quite a few games during

the Big 12. And to echo what Bill said, you're getting an incredible young man.

Very little baggage, if any, well raised by his mom.

You know, grew up on a small island off the coast of Miami, part of the Bahamas.

So I think you'll be able to understand him better than my buddy healed.

This one, buddy goes at a million miles an hour.

It's hard to, you know, hear what he has to say.

But this is a very soft-spoken young man, tremendous athlete.

I made the comparison last summer, and Bill echoed it to me.
