Ever since the Democrats announced their impeachment inquiry last month, the developments out of Washington have been fast, complex and sometimes… fake. Thursday on the Fox News Rundown, host Jessica Rosenthal sat down with the America Newsroom anchor to discuss how he does was he does and what it’s like working in the cable news business during these tumultuous times. While covering the news is always a challenge, the veteran journalist says the ‘seriousness’ of an impeachment battle has raised the stakes for him and his colleagues. He feels the American people are relying on him to hear the truth at a time when there is a lot of “smoke”, as he calls it, coming out of Washington. Hemmer also discussed the ongoing investigations related to the 2016 election, the allegations surrounding the Biden family and clears up some common misconceptions many Americans have about everything that’s been going on.
