Okay, we are live. Hi, this is William Ramsey. Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on today's show of a very special guest. He comes just from the UK. His name is Henry Hemming. His last name is spelled H-E-M-M-I-M-I-N-G. And I had him on a couple years ago, 2021, to talk about a book I was interested in because of its titleair Cruelly. The title of that book is Agent M.,

The Lives and Spies of MI5s, Maximum. I highly suggest people check that out.

But I just came to my attention that he published a new book,

if you're watching this on X or YouTube or Rockfin.

You'll see a title of the book and the cover of the book.

And it just was published April 2nd,

2024. And the full title is Four Shots in the Night, a true story of spies, murder, and justice in Northern Ireland. And I was listening, it's kind of the first time I've really listened

through an audiobook. I was delighted to get a copy of that audio book and listen to it.

It's really good.

It's very dramatic and it has a lot of different accents and involvement.

It's much more interesting than some of the other audio books I've listened to.

So congrats on that.

But this is not his first book.

And he's written for the Economist F.T. Magazine, Washington Post,

and his books have been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor.

And if you're seeing this through what's live, like the, even the New York Times commented on the book,

and Thealy Express compared him, delivers a read worthy

of Licari himself. So I think that's a very high compliment. And it is a really interesting

story. Maybe Americans don't know that much about this. The troubles in Northern Ireland, really

kind of a longer term conflict. Arguably goes back centuries, but flared up in the

70s and 80s. But like I said, I just want to read out some of those other books for people.
