Eventually, through a series of real brilliant moves, the people who were living in the house thought it would be a good idea if they ripped off this club owner that had all this

coke and heroin and money and all the stuff.

The weak link in the pin here was John Holmes,

who was buying dope from them,

friends with this guy up on the hill.

And they went and they ripped this guy up on the hill off.

It went back and John Holmes, then went back up to the guy on the hill, Eddie Nash,

and told him that, yeah, he was responsible.

And Eddie Nash sent down his bodyguard, a bunch of other guys with a bunch of lead pipes.

And they ended up bludgeoning to death everybody in the house.

My guest, John Wakehorst, has been writing a terrific chronicle of the 1981 Wonderland

murders that occurred in Laurel Cannon, California, also known as the Four on the Floor Murders. It is one of the most

grisly and famous unsolved murders. Welcome John Wakehurst. Yeah, thanks. So what were the Wonderland

or the Four on the Floor Murders? The Four on the Floor, Wonderland Murders, were an inside friend of a rich nightclub

owner and restaurant tour, who was John Holmes.

He ruined his marriage by cheating and whatnot.

And he also lost custody of his kids.

So he's just being a run-down, okay, basically, and partying every day because he

can't deal with that emotional side, I guess. So he's hanging around with all these losers.

And Holmes decided he would get some money back that he owed the gang at Wonderland, who were a
