But we started here on a couch. Yes, we are sitting on a couch and now we want to talk to you about the things

that have helped us build our brand and answer any questions you guys might have about how to build your own

careers. So every Thursday we'll be discussing a topic that our guests brought up on

Every day in the daily skin we've been breaking down the ins and outs of investing.

And on skim from the couch we talked to one of our own investors, CEO and managing partner of E.L.Y. Capital, Hope.

Hope had some wise words about the importance of women having financial

independence, which we can definitely get behind.

I am a very big believer that women need to control their own purse strings and their own pathways.

So if we get more women into the C suite, into the boardroom,

and controlling their purses,

then they will control their own destiny.

Something else that's been on our mind this week.

It's intern season. We've had a few of them

here at the skim, so this week we thought we'd take some questions from them directly.
