Max Mayblum is the founder and CEO of Givers. Motivated by his personal exposure to family caregiving and his background in healthtech, he started the company on a mission to help caregivers get long overdue support and resources. Max is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® and is passionate about helping caregivers find joy and connection in their role. 

 

Katie Wilkinson is the Head of Marketing at Givers. Watching her dad take care of her mom when she was sick gave her a front-row seat to witness the weight of being an unpaid caregiver. Katie is passionate about the intersection of healthcare and technology, and making sure that unpaid family caregivers get the care and compensation they deserve.

So let's start off with kind of giving an overview of what givers is. I think this is a remarkable initiative and platform that you guys have

is and kind of how it functions. Yeah, happy to. And just by way of background, I started givers in

2021 after going through my own family caregiving experience, I was really deep in digital

health. And my family, our caregiving situation, got more and more intense, as with so many

other families during COVID. And it really woke me up to the realities of how difficult

navigating family caregiving is. And I thought, as someone in digital health, I'd be able to

help my family through it. And what I realized is there's a pretty broken and difficult system to work your way through,

not least of all financially.
