Today we begin with an update in the trial of Michelle Traconis, which is in its six

week. Michelle is charged in connection with the death and disappearance of Connecticut woman Jennifer

Farber-Doulos. Her boyfriend at the time, Fotis, was Jennifer's husband, and is also suspected,

but he committed suicide in 2020 while facing murder charges.

Last week's biggest highlight was testimony from Pavel Gumiene, a former employee of Fotuses whom police believe was being framed in Jennifer's disappearance.

Testifying under immunity, Pavel described two times that he had heard Michelle talk about Jennifer.

One was a few months before her disappearance.

Fotus was angry that Jennifer wouldn't allow their five children to see his dying dog.

According to Pavel, Michelle said,

that bee should be buried right next to his dog. Of course, bee wasn't the actual

word she used. The second time, Pavell heard Michelle talk about Jennifer was a couple days after

her disappearance.

Michelle said, I'm going to kill that effing B

when she turns up.

Michelle's lawyer said that this later statement

was indication of his client's innocence,

as it suggested that she assumed Jennifer was still alive, which would not be the case

if she had been involved in her murder.
