race and inequality in the United States. Marty Baron joined the Washington Post in 2013,

which was soon after bought by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Prior to that, Baron had been

the executive editor at the Boston Globe, whereas team won a Pulitzer Prize for its reporting

on the Catholic Church Sex Abuse scandal, coverage which inspired the movie Spotlight. Baron
