when you're called upon in that moment, when you haven't started a regular season game,

when you're the backup and everything is riding on your shoulders? How do you get yourself

in that right

space where you can go out there and pull off a victory? Well, no doubt. Yeah, you're exactly

right, Mike. It was a it's over. We had been to two Super Bowls. Jim Kelly gets hurt against

the Oilers. And of course, what you don't show there is the week before we played

Deoilers in the last regular season game. And I came in and played most of that game and didn't

play very well, and they pounded us. So nonetheless, for me, and I really think this is the same

for Jared. I really do. Everybody's talking about you got to go in there with confidence.

But to me, what gave me, what elevated my game was the confidence that the team had in me,

the confidence that Marv Levy had in me. And, you know, Bruce Smith coming up to me and saying,

Frank, just play your game. We got your back. Andre Reid saying to me, Frank, just put it anywhere near me. I got it. I'm open all the time.
