Hello, folks. This is Arden co-creator Christopher Dole, and I am here today to shout out one of our fellow brethren in the audio drama world who are fundraising for their third season beginning today. Now, that show is the wonderfully charming Forgive Me. Forgive me tells the story of Father Ben,

a relatively progressive young Catholic priest

who was recently reassigned from Bingington to St. Patrick's,

a new parish in an unnamed upstate New York town

under mysterious circumstances.

Each episode follows Ben into the confessional with another eccentric parishioner from around

town, exploring the intertwined lives of this new community and the funny, sad, and

sometimes painful experiences that come out of the Catholic experience.

Forgive Me is a hilarious show. It's tonely similar to parks and recreation

and high maintenance. It's heartfelt and frank in the way it engages with modern faith at once

respectful, but still willing to call out its community. It's also one of the shows most at the

center of modern independent audio drama,

beginning with the Amelia Project and continuing on to Windfall,

The Vanishing Act, Greater Boston, and Give Me Away,

Forgive Me brings in some of the audio drama's finest for their time in the confessional.

And so, I'm here today to share with you an episode from Forgive Me's first season,

the fourth episode called Youth Participation.
