It also spearheaded global efforts to limit China's access to advanced semiconductors,

signaling a new error of strategic competition.

There have also been losses.

The U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan was a chaotic, costly disaster.

The Middle East has erupted into a brutal war,

killing tens of thousands and creating a humanitarian crisis in Gaza and well beyond.

Tensions with China remain sky high. And now we're on the cusp of another major shift

as President-elect Donald Trump prepares to return to the White House.

There's still four long weeks between now and January 20, so what does the Biden administration
