Summary

We’re talking straight to the girl in transition—whether you just moved to a new place, started a new job, became a mama, or are figuring out what’s next. We’ve both been there, and we get how hard and disorienting it can feel. But we believe this can be a season where your faith grows in radical ways. We’re sharing three super practical takeaways that have helped us keep our faith in motion when everything around us felt new or uncertain. We’ll walk through the “Ask, Seek, Knock” process from Matthew 7:7, talk about why boldness matters in new seasons, and remind you that you don’t have to do this alone. God is with you, and He wants to meet you right here—in the middle of the uncertainty. This could look like so many different things I think of my life.

0:36.6

If I reflect back, I felt like I was in the midst of transition when I went from high school to college and moved across the country in a new place in a new city. I remember bawling my eyes out with my friend, my only friend from home in the dorm room. Sad, sad moment. We miss it. And then I remember being in the midst of transition moving into postgrad, trying to figure out what the heck to do with my life, trying to figure out where I want to live, what I want to do. I feel like I was in the midst of transition in my adult life when I moved across the country to Florida and lived in a new place. I had to find a new church. I had to find a new community. I feel like in

1:11.1

the midst of transition when I started to have babies and become a mother. Yeah. That felt new.

1:15.0

My time felt different. And I want to speak to the season because I think in the midst of this,

1:20.1

it's really easy to lose track of our faith or our routines and feel just like discombobulated.

1:27.2

I feel like it's taken with our head cut off.

1:46.8

Yeah.

1:47.4

Because I think when I reflect on those moments, it's like the first few months of transition is when my faith always felt like the most stagnant because I just lost track of my time with Jesus.

2:00.9

That went out the window.

2:03.2

You know, and reading scripture, just that went out the window.

2:07.4

Even, like, community was hard to find.

2:09.9

And so I felt like I wasn't talking about my faith as much.

2:12.4

And so just grew stagnant and dry.

2:16.1

And you speak about this moment in scripture. If you've listened to

2:20.3

the For the Girl podcast diligently, you maybe have heard this message. But I want you to speak on it
