Hello, I'm Chuck Tonne. We just finished up on Meet the Press from this Sunday. On today's

0:09.9

broadcast, we took a special look at this fight over simply access to voting with interviews

0:15.5

from Stacey Abrams, Georgia's Lieutenant Governor, Jeff Duncan. Plus, I had a chance

0:19.4

to check in with Dr. Fauci, who are my big takeaways from their interviews. I don't want

0:24.1

to start quickly with Dr. Fauci. I think the most interesting exchange we had had to

0:29.7

do with the fact that vaccine hesitancy appears to be more along political lines, that it is

0:34.3

along racial lines, which had been the quote-unquote conventional wisdom. And he seemed to concur

0:40.1

with the idea that maybe former President Trump was going to be needed, since many of his

0:44.2

supporters, particularly Republican men, are among the largest group of folks that are

0:50.5

being hesitant on taking the vaccine. Let's see if that percolates as we get going. And

0:57.3

I think the other piece of news I was hoping to get out of it, on behalf of a couple of

our own staffers and plenty of friends and family, was, when can indoor weddings happen again?

1:06.1

It was interesting. He didn't have a good answer. There's still enough risks out there

1:11.2

where you could hear it in Dr. Fauci. He's emphasis on the word cautious, unconsciously

1:16.9

optimistic. Now let's turn to the voting rights and the discussion we had. We had a huge

1:23.0

deep dive and I hope you had a chance to look at it. Just how many states are dealing with

1:29.3

this, how many, and really the advantage Republicans do have in trying to change these laws if

1:36.0

they want to do. If they want to jam these through, there is some opportunity where they

1:40.5

can do that because of how much control they have. Now, whether there's the political

1:44.6

will, with all Republicans to do that, is unclear. You'll hear from the Republican that we

1:49.3

have on, George, who's the Senate Governor. He seems to be uncomfortable with where

1:52.2

Republicans are trying to take this. Stacey Abrams seems to be more focused on seeing if they
