Welcome everybody to the Football GM podcast, Mike Sando here, of The athletic, along with the GM Randy Mueller on a big

show.

Really one of my favorite shows of the year, not just because Randy does even more of the work

than normal, which is a lot on the podcast, but because we're going to talk about college

quarterbacks today. Randy's going to

unveil his top five. We're going to start with number five and go all the way through.

But first off, Randy, how are you doing?

I'm doing great life. Freak in the XFL. I mean, that's pretty good.

Excited that we're actually in a week six of the XFL if you follow my train of thought. Last time around, that didn't happen. So I think everybody in week six is, okay, I know it's coming, but everybody's still a little hesitant, you know, to say, hey, we're going to play a game week six. Not that there's any reason to doubt it. It's just, hey, you take, you don't take

anything for granted anyway, but you really, in a, in a upstart league, you know, it's a lot more

volatile. This is not the NFL where there's billions of dollars have roots down in the ground. I mean,

things can change in a hurry. So congratulations on getting the week six. Yeah, I would just say

this. There has never been any doubt in my mind that this would fly.

And the ownership has been thoroughly selling that message to us.

So nobody ever had any doubts.

What I say is tongue and cheek, trust me.
