Welcome to another edition of the Cyclone Fanatic Podcast.

It is episode 13 of football and random things

presented by our friends at Iowa Diamond.

For some reason, Jeff Woody thought that it would be cool to go on vacation

the day after Iowa State is announced to be playing in its biggest bowl game in school history.

So I had to go to the bullpen. It means that I'm calling Jay Jordan, Cyclone Fanatic,

contributor and renowned football talker. I'm going to tell you guys right now that this podcast is a marathon and not a

sprint but every single minute of it is worth it because Jake has so much great

insight on the game of football, on the cyclones, and on just the trajectory

of the program.

It was so much fun to be able to record with him.

I think you guys will be able to tell that from the way that the podcast kind of flows.

It was just like football and random football things.

It is all football for a really, really long time.

I don't even know exactly how long it is yet because I haven't been able to put it all together as I record this intro.

But I know that it was fun to record. I know that I think or at least I think Jay had a lot of fun recording it as well and I'm going to warn you guys it might be a

podcast that after the first segment or after the second segment you like you pause it you

listen to something else for a little

while and then you come back I swear to God if you listen all the way to the end you

will enjoy it because I think that the third segment was really really fun as well So I hope you enjoy this podcast. I think that you will.
