I'm so excited for all of you to learn about your shape. It might not be the shape you're

thinking of right now. Rick loves to use acrostics and this one is

S-H-A-P-E your shape, your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences.

And one of the reasons I love this series

and have shared it with so many friends

is because Rick talks about the way God wired you

and why you need not just know your shape but how to use it to do the things that God designed you to do. So let's jump right in. Here's Rick with the final part of a message called unwrapping your spiritual

gifts. A couple weeks ago we started this series that God never makes copies of anything. He only makes originals because originals are far

more valuable than any copy and that God made you for a purpose and he has wired

you or shaped you uniquely unlike anybody else in the world.

We talked about how that in architecture form follows function.

In other words, tell me what you want the building to be used for, and then I'll tell you how to build it.

But the opposite is true with human beings.

Function follows form.

In other words, look at the way God formed you, how he shaped you, and then you'll know what you're supposed to do with your life.

And we said that there are five things that make you you, your shape, S-H-A-P-E.
