Why did the third base, a couple things here. Right. Why did the third baseman pick the ball up so quickly? Yes. If he just lets it sit there, there's no way that you can, they call that a fair ball,

but also even in that brief moment that it was clearly foul, how did the umpire there,

how did he actually say that it was a fair ball?

There's this much of a gap.

And so for the radio audience, it's like almost an inch gap between the ball and the foul line. What are we doing here? So if that doesn't happen, the inning probably doesn't

take place. Yes. But to your point, don't do that. Why? It's a four-run game. Because it's just

that mindset that you know I can make a mistake. And he's also not used to that situation. So he's been so good for a year and a half. And guess what? Well, hell breaks loose. Well, so I loved his reaction afterwards. He said it's not that big of a deal. And, well, if you got 101, Saw Young.

He did point out, I love this. He goes, I can always start a new streak now. Yeah. And so this part of it sucks, right? So it was 34 and two thirds innings for his scoreless streak. When you go back and look, it's like top seven, top eight of all time, scoreless streak by a reliever. Greg Olson had a stretch in 89 and 90, where it was 41 innings straight. Brad Ziegler for the A's did it back in 2008 for 39 innings, Ryan Presley for 39. Hayter had a stretch of 30. So you get my point here, like he was right in that territory. Like it really would have been something to touch like 50 innings or beyond with the scoreless freak. Yeah. Beautiful. The magic can still fire Mosley? I'm not sure.
