How excited should we be about this big right-handed defenseman?

Very excited, I think.

Phantoms are right around 500, 27, 27, and 6th.

They're fifth in the Atlantic.

How do you feel about their place in the standings right now and their potential to maybe do something in the postseason?

I definitely feel a lot better right now than I did at this time last week.

It's been kind of a difficult stress for them recently.

They have had a lot of games where they've been sort of right there, but haven't been able

to tip that over into actual wins.

So that's been kind of frustrating, but they had a really tough schedule this past week, four games against three of the top

teams in the East.

And they've got three wins over that span.

So a lot of good things happening right now.

They're now in a position where they're not fighting tooth and nails to hang on to that last playoff

spot, but now they're a lot closer to actually going for home ice advantage in that first

round. So definitely some things they need to work on still. I think building on momentum has

been one of the challenges for the team this year. I'm sure that also sounds familiar.

But, you know, getting things moving in the right direction for now.

So pretty pleased with things, all things considered.

How much of their struggle to find consistency do you think is like, hey, we took Barky and Bump away from you?

Like, there's, Colisov was up, so Bjarnison had to play a bunch of games earlier in the,

in 2026. And it just feels like they had something maybe, and then pieces started to get pulled
