Hello, hello, everybody. Welcome back to Fluently Fixed, where we fix everything about your life

and a few people on Patreon requested bringing the series back, which made me so happy because I

love doing stuff like this. And we have got a bunch of quarrels, quandries, and queries. I think

that was what I used to say that we are going to get to for this episode.

And I might even do another one next week because there are a bunch coming in. So let's start

with the first question that somebody wrote in here. I think this could apply to anyone who's

at the tail end of a bad relationship and they know that they shouldn't be in it, but they just

can't bring themselves to break up with the person.

Somebody said, I'm trying to figure out if I should stay in my relationship, plan to end it, or a combo of the two.

I even feel guilty writing this, but I don't know what to do.

I'm a lesbian, this is my first relationship, and I just don't feel like I'm getting from this relationship what I give to it. My girlfriend's mental health is terrible. She doesn't have great career prospects and she's basically completely

dependent on me emotionally. She constantly needs attention and I'm just going to try to condense

some of this. She's not particularly interested in the things that I like or sex life is also unsatisfying, and at the same time, I do like the feeling of being loved. She isn't abusive, and I do love her. You might be thinking it sounds like a long list of reasons you should leave, but here's the thing. I'm a lesbian, I live in a remote area, I'm fat, and that's not about to change. I'm a teacher. My job is locked

into my location and I'm usually the first person to say dump him to my friends, but I feel like

with my age, location, sexuality, I may not be able to do better. Beyond that, leaving my girlfriend

would completely destroy her life. I feel like I deserve a better relationship that doesn't make me

feel so drained, but I also worry that I might blow up both of our lives out of unrealistic expectations.

I don't know how to get a realistic understanding of the pros and cons here.

I am a big believer that anytime I listen to like a podcast or a YouTube video for advice

and somebody writes something in like this

and the host is like, oh my God, dump them, break up with them. It's just not going to be effective,

okay? You've already done a better job of listing out reasons why you guys should break up more than I
