There is something incredibly devastating about an entire family becoming the target of someone dangerous.

On December 19, 1959, a massacre took place inside of a small area of Florida, a crime that,

unfortunately, remains unsolved. So if you like your coffee hot, but your bones chilled, sit back and start your day with a

morning cup of murder. The Walker family lived in a wood-frame cottage surrounded by pasture and

forest in Ospre, Florida. Their nearest neighbor was a half a mile away, and living in their

tiny town, it was a relatively

quiet and calm existence. That all changed, however, as the sun rose on December 20th,

1959, and their lawn became covered in the footprints of law enforcement.

Inside their charming little home was the body of Christine Walker,

lying barefoot and covered in blood,

with her dress and undergarments pulled up and rumpled.

still wearing his straw cowboy hat,

now marred by the blood that came from the bullet hole

in his right eye, while their son Jimmy lay curled up next to his father with blood

smearing his clothing and hair. From what police could tell, the young boy tried to crawl to his

father as the killer, whoever they were, fired three shots at the boy's head.
