Ingram Smith, Bud Elliot, back again for another episode of the Nolkast, looking at the linebacker position tonight as we continue to advance our way through our position preview series.

Interesting group we're going to talk about, a couple of very familiar names coming back, a couple of young promising players,

and a couple of significant, if not perhaps intriguing, pieces that have been added via the portal.

So this will be one of our shorter episodes I would imagine and so let's jump

straight into it. Start the conversation with Nick Lundy.

I don't know why. Kind of similar playing styles I guess. I don't know.

DJ. It's the ultimate compliment I can give you is Nick Moody was one of my favorite players.

I've heard not necessarily for how good

a football player was just cool dude. Anywho let's get into this linebacker preview

bud. Let's do this thing Matt. So you are replacing quite a bit there with the loss of Tatum Bethune and

Kieland Deloach. That's about a thousand combined snaps last year at linebacker.

Fifteen tackles for loss between them, two picks between them, both of them pretty memorable obviously, Bethoons in the ACC championship game was,

you know, to me me like one of the more like oh my God memorable

interceptions that we've seen as Noles 23 combined run stops 70 pass rush snaps the loach actually had seven sacks last year which I mean it really did a nice job of rushing the passer you just due to the speed that he had there and I mean when they sent him he

routinely got pressure on the passer I mean we're talking 47% pressure rate so So, really, really nice, including one,

pretty memorable one.
