I'm Mama Jules, and we have three cases today.

First, out of Florida.

A man murdered his wife, his mother-in-law, and his father-in-law,

and also his brother-in-law. This all happened back in 2018, and when he was sentenced to death,

two weeks ago, it was the first I had heard of the case. So I'm bringing it to you. Then case

number two and three are listener requests, the murder of eight

children in Shreveport on Sunday, and also the murder of Little Athena Strand in Texas in 2022.

So let's dive in. Now, I found this case for you guys, and it was complicated, made worse by

years of delays, and then there's some confusion in the reporting.

But a man has now been sentenced to three death sentences and also 30 years for manslaughter

for the deaths of his wife and his in-laws.

So let's start back in the neighborhood of a bunch of mobile homes in Tarpen Springs, Florida.

This was in 2018.

Now this quiet community was filled with retirees. They were fleeing cold winters for the relaxation of the Florida

son. 71-year-old Richard Ivanchic and his wife, 59-year-old Laura Ivanchic, will they fit

this neighborhood perfectly. Originally from Cleveland, the couple had lived for some time in a small house with mint green siding,

along with their 25-year-old son, Nicholas, and their three small dogs, Buddy, Boomer, and Bailey.

And in December of 2018, some small behaviors started grabbing the attention of the neighbors in the little community.

First off, the air conditioner was running nonstop in the Yvanchic home.
