We're back with another dispatch from the West Coast, where we take you behind the scenes and inside the minds of some of the top people in tech.

We have a most excellent show for you today,

and it's going to be a little different. I sat down with Benedict Evans, who's a partner at

the venture capital giant Andresen Horowitz, and many of you know him probably through his

very popular weekly newsletter, which has something like 90,000 subscribers and counting. So rather than the typical format,

I thought I'd try a slightly altered tack with Benedict, given his vast knowledge across

a whole range of subjects. So I came up with five big questions, just five, about different

themes and technology, and then just let it take us where it took us. It was a lot of fun, so hopefully
