My name is Chris, and this is a show about football. Hello there, you tapeworms. Thank you so much for listening today. I hope I can help make an hour of your day a little brighter and a little more fun. I was kind of dreading, spending significant time on the Thursday night game, Dolphins at Bills, because the spread was 12.5 and it was in Buffalo.

And talking about the dolphins has gotten exhausting because the NFL media works in such a way

that the big NFL sanctioned personalities,

we all can't help but be exposed to, the shouty

desk jockeys on the preview shows and the debate shows, the aging men with immense hands

and elaborate haircuts. They mostly exist to defend players. They mostly don't talk bad

about players or teams or coaches or anyone. They mostly don't talk bad about players or teams or coaches or anyone.

They mostly soft pedal problems that organizations are having. And it's kind of exhausting and it's

kind of annoying. You want them to make a stand and they mostly just kind of won't.

Until everyone decides that a team is a pinata and the coaching staff needs to go at which

point then it's all you hear that's the lead story on everything and that has certainly been true

of the dolphins everyone has piled on what a disaster did you know they gave up points on their

first 10 defensive series of the season did you know they gave up points on their first 10 defensive series of the season?

Did you know they only throw short passes to try and keep their quarterback unconcust?

Did you know they blundered their offseason? What are they doing? It's all anyone can say.

So I was kind of dreading it, and then a funny thing happened. A pretty good game broke out.

The Dolphins' offensive environment isn't like the worst thing in the world.

They were tied 21-21 and about to get the ball back in the fourth quarter
