Hi everybody and welcome to another edition of fitness with friends.

Sean Woodland and Tommy Marquez here with you and today we are talking with the eight

time CrossFit Games competitor, the 2020 Rogue Invitational Champion and the three time

defending Wata Polusa champion Pat Velner.

We talked to him about his experience at the CrossFit Games last year, coming up short

in the final event of the 2022 Rogue Invitational, how the team of him, Brent Fakowski and

Jeff Adler came together for this year's Wata Polusa and what it would take for him to

consider going team for the CrossFit Games.

It's been a while since we've actually talked to you a lot has happened since then.

I think the last time we actually talked with Pat, it was before the games, right before

the games, July.

So let's go all the way back to Madison and just kind of look back on that experience and

what were the main takeaways from those four days of Madison?

Oh, man, that's like a long time ago to get back on.

What are the hot issues that the games this year, programming was different for sure and
