Welcome to the Hockey PEDEOCast. My name is Dimitra Filipovich. And joining me is my good buddy, Harmon,

Dyle. Harmon, what's going on then? I'm jacked up for the playoffs. I mean, day one was definitely

lived up to the hype. A couple overtime finishes there. Kings coming back. I mean, first time

the playoffs is always the best. It feels like there's always a million things going on at once. So I'm jacked up. It's the best time of the year. Now, is that a play on words? Because we're going to do devil's rangers here jacked up. Is that your... No, not intentional.

Is that all that time you spent... I wish I was that smart. I wish I was that smart. No, I'm not. Okay, good. Well, that's what we're going to do. So the plan for today is we are going to preview the remaining round one series that I haven't done yet in the PDOCs. It's all the series that start here on Tuesday as we're recording. We're going to do Devils Rangers. We're going to do Avs Cracken, and we're going to do Golden Knights Jets. I recommend listening, even though the other series have started if you haven't checked it out

yet go listen to the uh other previews we've done so far we're doing more of the same here rather

than focusing on just predictions or or kind of like superficial stuff we're going to try to

dive into what's going to make these series interesting what to look for help people prepare

uh so they can get the most out of these games because there's obviously, once the

game start going, it's, it's, the action is fast and furious and there's just so much to keep up

with. So let's start with Devils Rangers. What is the most interesting part of the series to

you? The most interesting part is, okay, so right off the bat, let me say, I actually like

the Rangers a lot, right? When you think about eaguer

to Sturkin getting hot down the stretch, top nine is skilled, top four on the back end has been

rounding into form. But for me, the devils are probably the least favorable stylistic

matchup for them. And what I mean by that is the Rangers as a team aren't very fast and the devils are speed demons.

It's watching them, watching the devils fly up and down the ice.

That's not an ideal sort of play style, I think, for the for the Rangers.

So I'm going to be curious, the most interesting thing that I'm watching for in the series

is can the Rangers contain the Devils of Speed?

Because if they can, especially because of the advantage they have a net, they're going to win
