Summary

Travis is back for another installment of the Fins Flashback going all the way back to the 1994 season-opening shootout win over the New England Patriots. Dolphins receiver Irving Fryar caught three touchdowns as Miami prevailed 39-35 in Dan Marino's first game back from the Achilles injury in '93. 1:06.9	podcast and as the broadcast of that particular game says this was the first game
1:11.7	of Moreno's career where he was coming off a prolonged absence in his career because of that 1993 Achilles injury.
1:19.7	It was the first time he really missed significant time in his entire career and the
1:23.8	90s were just a different time when it came to sports. This wasn't a time where
1:28.0	ACL injuries were essentially a six to month eight month prognosis. This wasn't a time where
1:33.6	Quarterbacks played well into their 40s and it certainly wasn't a time where
1:37.3	players coming off a serious injury on the wrong side of 30 just returned to
1:41.8	form but Marino did and it started in that game you watch
1:45.9	that game and he is laboring throughout the whole thing it's actually kind of
1:50.8	painful to watch he's got that clunky brace on. Every step comes with a significant hunch favoring one side of his gate.
1:58.0	They played an interview on the telecast with Marino from training camp where he said at this point he's just tired of talking about the injury
