0:38.0	night preview screenings and Drew, how can the studios persist in calling these Thursday night
0:45.8	screenings these days? They typically start at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and secondly,
0:51.5	they're not really previews of the movie. Previews used to be the things you hold a weekend
0:58.4	before the movie came out maybe two weeks out to build buzz. Right. And it would be attached to
1:04.8	another movie or something, right? That's it exactly. And you'd buy a ticket to see con air,
1:10.0	but Jim, you'd get to see face off as well. There we go. There we go. These screenings are done
1:17.2	out ahead of the official opening of the movie on Friday to artificially boost the weekend
1:22.4	gross or the opening weekend gross. This is sort of the theatrical equivalent of the thing you
1:29.4	bring up all the time when they order 20 episodes of an animated series and then they release a
1:35.5	10 episode for season and then announce, hey, it's renewed for a second season. It's like, no,
1:41.6	no, it's not. You always ordered 20 episodes and so there were going to be two seasons no
1:46.4	matter what. So everybody in the industry actually understands what's going on here. And I get
1:51.3	why they do it. I was actually pulling numbers earlier today and I meant of the was quantum mania.
1:57.6	It's Thursday night preview screenings. They pulled in 17.5 million and the film itself made 106
2:04.8	over its opening weekend. So that's 16% of it's overall opening weekend box office take same
