We are now officially in the dog days of summer which run from July 3rd to August 11th

Some will tell you that this time of year gets its name because of that stretch of

Distractive summer typically as the most oppressive weather highest temperatures most suns are storms

Whether this isn't fit for a dog

Truth is, however, the name comes from this particular phase of the celestial calendar

This is when the sun occupies the exact same region of the sky as Sirus

Which is the brightest star visible from any place on earth and is part of the constellation Canis major the greater dog

So that is why I said Sirus is sometimes called the dog star and when the sun occupies the same chunk of sky as Sirus

That's why this piece of summer is known as the dog days and I bring this up because didn't you just bring Nova into the room while you're recording the show Drew?

I did I did every day as a dog day when it comes to me

How it how is Nova doing? I mean this has been a fairly interesting summer out there in LA hasn't it?

I mean yeah the fireworks have stopped going off. Yeah, that's true

And you know she survived 120 degrees in in Palm Springs

So she's she's good. She's happy. Oh
