Welcome to fine-tuning with Drew Taylor, your one-stop shop when it comes to animation news and

commentary. I'm Drew's co-host, Entertainment Writer Jim Hill, and he and I are recording the show

on Friday, January 29th, 2021. Well, we're recording the first half of the show, the news portion

of Friday. Feature portion is going to have to wait till Monday, February 1st. That's when,

thanks to Drew. We're going to get to do something really, really cool. Yeah, we're going to talk to

director Taylor Meacham and producer Jeff Herman, the two gentlemen behind DreamWorks' new

animated short to Gerard, and that is obviously in the Oscar conversation right now, so we're going

to get to chat with them about what it was like making this short, and it's a short that we both

loved, right? Oh, no, absolutely. I think I kind of went into the ditch talking about how

they're going to whoever made this really love-close magic, so you really can't wait to talk

with Taylor and Jeff about- Speaking of close magic, did you watch In and of itself on Hulu Jim?

This is the Frank Oz directed thing? Yes. Okay. All right, because I was driving home today,

I'm listening to my favorite murder with Karen in Georgia, and they are just losing their minds

about this, but at the same time, what to keep telling people is don't, don't look at anything

in advance. Just go watch it. Yeah. Don't make the mistake of doing any research. All I know is

it was a play, right? It was a live show, yeah. Okay. All right, before we talk with Taylor and

Jeff, I will look at it this weekend. Okay. After the break, I'll come back and blither.
