Now, I'm part Jewish. Askenashi Jew.

I come from a long line of rabbis on my father's side of the family.

I found out about being Jewish in an unusual way. I was at a full gospel business being when I was 19 or 20 years old. And a guy came down at the platform who was a Messianic Jew in the Middle East, and he comes down to me, he goes, Mishpulka. I didn't know what Mishpulch was. I go, huh? He goes, Mishboka. It's a greeting. Hebrew greeting, evidently. I said, yeah, he says, God's going to use you to reach your people. And I looked at him, and I grew up in an Episcopal church. So I go, I'm going to reach Episcopalians. I mean, I was praying for God's will, but that didn't sound like the most exciting assignment in earth. All, those Episcopalian. I said, I don't know. I don't even go to Episcopal Church anymore. I'm Pentecostal. He goes, no, not Piscopians. Jews. I go, why in the world would I reach Jews? He said, why don't you go in the lobby and call your father and ask him? He got a word of knowledge. If I called my mother, she would have lied because she was Irish Catholic.

My father, I called, and I said, hey, dad, I just ran into a guy here. You know, I'm hanging around with these full gospel business people, and some of them are rather prophetic. He said to call you about my Jewish background. He goes, what? What's his name? Who is he? I go, I don't think, you don't know

he is. It's a whole different world out here with these full gospel business people.

He said, well, you come home. However, do not discuss this with your brothers. I'm going to ask you

to maintain confidentiality. Well, I knew something was up. I went home and he shows me.

But he just happened to God.

I think God gave him the information. He's like somebody sent him a list of all the families. And coming from, you know, Germany into Philadelphia into the south and it was all the rabbis. I said, it's crazy, man. We got rabbis? I think the Christians are probably going to love this. He goes, well, don't. He said, the reason why I changed my name, and I hid it from you, is I didn't want you to have to face the persecution that I faced him when I was growing up. I said, I don't think it's any of that really anymore. He said, don't kid yourself. There's always going to be anti-Semitism. Even in your own ranks, you're going to discover it. which is ironic because we're dealing with anti-Semitism right now. So I thought, well, that's interesting. But I'm sharing that with you

because when I speak to you, I'm probably one of the first tongue-talking rabbis you've had in your

congregation in a long time. And to me, when I say the church, the modern day church, you see, 10% of all

of the tribes of Israel, a tithe of all the tribes, was sent over to become the Levites. And the

Levites were the temple people. 90% of Israel was called to go take territory. They had to go

take land from the Philistines and,

you know, the Finkelstein's and everyone else. So the Jews had to go out and occupy. The temple

was to equip them. Now in the New Testament, the temple is still the same thing. It's a five-fold

ministry. You're very blessed to have the leaders you've got. They're set apart for temple priesthood. But here's our mistake. We almost train people

to replicate what the 10% do so that 90% will have a job in the church. I even did that. I was a
